Hello everyone.  Our plans are to allow the winner of the drawing to schedule the cruise according to their own wishes.  However, we have worked the costs of the cruise around the winter rates.  The schedule and ports of call are varied according to which cruise is desired.

We are restricted from using more than one piece of Caribbean Cruise Lines promotional material.  Therefore, for additional details, please go to: www.caribeancruiseline.com or to www.Oasisoftheseas.com for extensive detailed information.  Thank you and happy sailing.

Regional Artists Exhibits

2 June 2011

Don’t forget to visit our revolving local and regional artists exhibitions at the Vada Sheid Community Center.

For August, theArtists League of  theOzarks has presented a beautiful, multi-media exhibit featuring paintings, sculptures, slab pottery, fabrics and wools, furniture, and numerous other fine works of art.   Their reception is scheduled for Tuesday, August 16th fro 3:30 to 6:00 pm.

The reception has been moved to TUESDAY, AUGUST 16th from 3:30-6:00 pm

So please encourage all your fellow employees and colleagues in business to come to the reception. If your the boss maybe it could be a “must attend”. I have to admit I feel on the “hook” for asking ACG to participate and so I want the reception to be well attended.

Some of this art is shown on our revolving gallery on the first page.  -

Sundown for Dollar Smash!

22 November 2010
Hello everyone.  I couldn’t think of a better way to say it. And all of our thanks and gratitude to Ms Brenda Allen for the outstanding job of putting it all together and pulling it off.  A wonderfully coordinated effort and welldone by everyone.  The  ORAC Board
Wow!!! What an awesome performance from each and every one of you!!!!!!!!  You were each at your very best last night!
I cannot tell you how proud I am to have had the opportunity to work with such an incredibly talented group. You know that you are all now experienced actors and will forever be recognized in this community with your stage names.
The play was as smooth as silk and I felt that each of you acted so comfortably in the Thirsty Goat Saloon.
You were funnier last night than you had ever been!! The crowd is still talking about you today!
I heard nothing but praise for all of you from the guests and was asked by many if there would be a repeat performance! I don’t think we will do Sundown again as Danna Darty would have to rewrite the play ending. She does have a couple more comedies that she has written to offer to us. Should we do another play, we won’t have so many characters to make it easier.
I know that you all gave up time with your families and work to be a part of this great production. And from myself and the entire ORAC board, we are extremely grateful!!
We had a sellout crowd with people on a waiting list to try to get in to see all of you!!  The play was fun, exciting, intriguing, and most of all well received and enjoyed by all. That speaks volumes about this communities interests in bringing art to this area. ORAC’s mission is to bring art to Mountain Home, in various forms, whether it be music, theater, or just art in various mediums. This was our first attempt at theater…..and I believe it was a huge success!!!
The success of Sundown will allow ORAC to complete their $100,000 committment to the Vada Sheid Community Development Center as well as future interests. And we are proud to say that all of you were a big part of that contribution!
Thanks a million from our board. We are extremely grateful for your time and talents.
Happy Trails,
Lolly Popps
